How it works

Rank is the bid. Nothing else moves you up — not clicks, not votes, not how long you have been here.

Getting on the board

Paste your product URL or your X handle, pick a country, and pay. The cheapest way onto the board is $5. Bids are whole US dollars, up to $999,999.

There is no sign-up. Your listing is your URL, normalized so that https://www.foo.com/?ref=x and foo.com are the same listing. That is what lets you come back later and raise your own bid without an account.

What a rank costs

  • Taking #1 costs at least $5 more than the current leader.
  • Passing any other rank costs $1 more than the bid you are passing.
  • Raising your own listing charges only the difference between your current bid and the new one. Bidding $5 then raising to $50 costs the same $50 in total as bidding $50 once.
  • Equal bids keep the order they were placed in. The older bid ranks higher, so matching someone never takes their spot.

Because a raise only charges the difference, nobody can take your rank by paying that same difference — they have to clear your full bid.

Country Wars

Every listing flies one flag, chosen on its first paid bid and locked for the rest of the season. Every dollar that listing raises is added to that country's season total. Raising someone else's listing pays into their flag, not yours.

You can also skip the products entirely and pay a country directly from Fight for my country, from $5. That money counts toward the nation score exactly like listing money does, which is how a country with no products on the board can still win the week.

Seasons

A season runs Monday 00:00 UTC to Sunday 23:59 UTC. When it ends, two champions are frozen into the Hall of Fame: the Startup Champion, the listing holding #1, and the Nation Champion, the country with the highest total.

Then the board empties. Bids do not carry over, ranks do not carry over, and #1 is available for $5 again. Champion crowns are permanent and follow a listing or a country into every future season.

The first season is eight days rather than seven: the site launched on a Sunday, and rolling over the next morning would have made the founding week one day long.

Money

Payments are handled by Polar and charged in USD. Bids are final and are not refunded — not when you are outbid, and not when the season resets. You are buying a rank for as long as you can hold it, which is the whole game.

What is not allowed

  • Chat and invite links: Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord and friends.
  • Adult content.
  • Link shorteners. Paste the real URL — we follow the redirect and list what it actually points at.
  • Raw IP addresses and anything not reachable on the public web.

A listing removed for breaking these rules does not get its money back, and the country score it contributed to is not adjusted.
